It is our goal to to help teachers grow in their practice through leveraging high-quality curriculum and research-based pedagogies to create equitable learning communities where students make sense of science and engineering ideas together.

Meet Your Coach

Cari Williams has over 25 years of experience in science education. She currently develops and reviews curriculum created for the NGSS and provides professional learning and coaching to help teachers reach the vision described by A Framework for K-12 Science Education. Prior to this, Cari taught middle school science and engineering courses and supported science and STEM teachers district-wide.  


She earned her Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton and continues to develop online resources to support teachers. Cari was a member of Achieve’s EQuIP Peer Review Panel for Science from 2016-2020 and currently serves as a Professional Learning Facilitator for NSTA and OpenSciEd.
