Meet Your Coach

Cari Williams has over 26 years of experience in science education. She currently develops and reviews curriculum created for the NGSS, provides professional learning for teachers, and coaches administrators and instructional leaders to support teachers in reaching the vision described by A Framework for K-12 Science Education.  

She earned a BS in Biology and Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz and a MS in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton.  She was a member of Achieve’s EQuIP Peer Review Panel for Science from 2016-2020 and currently serves as a professional learning facilitator for OpenSciEd and the National Science Teaching Association.
